Forrest Gump, directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, and Gary Sinise, released on July 6, 1994, is a sensational story about the life of an individual that goes by the name Forrest Gump. Gump, as told later in the movie, is waiting for a bus to take him to Jenny, a long lost, close, friend of his. As Forrest Gump is sitting at this bus-stop passersby are also waiting for them to take them on route to their destinations, and so Forrest feels it to be the perfect time to recollect his life to these observers, and he starts in Greenbow, Alabama. This movement was one where the individuals vastly differed from normal society, almost a complete 180 in terms of was was right and wrong. The multitudes could almost be a “box of chocolates”. I feel Forrest Gump is an example of a movie with no weaknesses. It hits you in all of the right motions, such as friendship, rejection, war, success, loss, and the ever so important love. This is a film whos lessons will be with its observer throughout their life. Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump played the role phenomenally, allowing me to truly see through the eyes of Forrest. A true message of this movie is that life can hit you with anything, but embracing those moments and playing them to your strengths is what you must do in order to be truly happy and graceful in
