Freedom, the capability or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without impediment or constraint. There are many people in our American history that have contributed to our freedom that we have today. However, some of those historic people have wrote, signed, or agreed to our American history documents. What freedom means to me is every individual American citzen can live your life as they desire; all men are created equal, and live with respect. In our American history people have stood up and fought for our freedom. Say Rosa Parks for instince, in the 1950s America was in sergregation between whites and colored people. During that period of time colored people couldn’t make contact with white people. Black people treated very poorly unlike the whites. While that was around Rosa Parks had gotton on the bus and she sat near the center of the bus with a few other colored people, just behind a few seats reserved for whites. Soon all of the seats in the bus were filled. Then a white gentleman enrolled onto the bus, the driver demanded that all four blacks sitting behind the white section to abandond their seats so that the gentleman could sit there. None of the blacks had moved to the back of the bus, but when the driver shrieked at the black passengers a second time, they all get up except for Rosa Parks.
