Freedom is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. The foundation of America is freedom. Freedom from Britain. However, the freedom is limited to white males who own property. When colonists started to immigrate to America, they wanted to escape from under the rule of Britain.
Being a US citizen has its perks, but knowing the amendments to the Constitution is something every citizen should consider, especially the first. Freedom of speech is one of the most important. If people want to share their opinions on how the government is doing, they are able to do so without the fear of getting in trouble with the law. It’s also a way to defend one’s self from courts but in an unharmful way. Freedom of religion is another right to the amendment that is also very important.
As an American citizen, I am aware of my rights. I am very thankful for my rights and I am genuinely grateful for the people who served to give me those rights. Over the years, countless wars have been fought for equal rights and freedom. The freedom not just for our country, but for many others too. To emphasize, rights, equality and having a strong government is very important.
Freedom is a right. Freedom was given to us by the Founding Fathers. Freedom gives us no restrictions. The First Amendment gives us citizens the right to freedom of speech, allowing us to talk about our beliefs without restriction. Freedom gives us the right to help others through hard times and improve our communities.

The United States of America is a country that is built upon a foundation of unique values and principles.
In America we have a lot of freedoms. I think that us Americans don't realize how lucky we are to have the things we have and i think we need to be more aware of that. We are free to do most things we want, and we each need to be thankful for our lives as Americans. Also we need to be unique in our own ways. We all need to be leaders and not followers.

Many Americans today take the freedoms given in the Constitution for granted. It’s easy to forget how many others around the world don’t have “inalienable rights” given; such as the freedom of religion. In the countries Burma, China, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan, citizens face severe repression, imprisonment, torture, and even death for different religious beliefs than the ones allowed by their government. When something unjust happens in America, such as unlawful police officers using excessive force, NSA surveillance on phone and internet communications, or extreme drug sentences, we wake up and realize how crucial our rights are.
Ever wondered why freedom is so important to America? Why we need freedom and why some people take advantage of it? Or why we have rules with the freedom we have? Freedom to me isn’t just a word, it’s a way of life that everybody uses, sure, all people are unique but freedom is the one thing that makes us all the same, as equals and individuals.
Freedom is more than just a word, it is actions, it is feelings, it is the ability of being able to choose your own life. In the US, you have the opportuniy to pursue any occupation you may want to hold. In other countries such as Germany and Japan, the students must pass a test to determine whether or not they are allowed to move on to a secondary school for higher education. Freedom also means being able to speak your mind without being scared of government repercussions. But, liberty is not unconditional.
Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “If you can’t fly, then run, if you can’t run, then walk, if you can’t walk, then crawl, but do whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.” Martin Luther King is saying two important reasons that freedom is important... freedom is being able to have the right of education and not being judged on your race. Freedom means having a right to education because having the right to education means getting a job, getting married, and getting to drive.
American exceptionalism introduce the United States as free nation with individual liberty. America is exceptional because of the rights given to American people, great justice system. Freedom is the power or right to act, speak, or think that is given in constitution. Most important that I see is first amendment . It give us rights such as freedom of speech freedom of religion, freedom of press, but it mean different to people, people who are religious they have freedom of religion, I as a Muslim American can pray anywhere as long as it is not effecting anything around me.

Liberty is essential to have for a citizen living in a democracy. The First Amendment in the Bill of Right the amendment stats "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances".
Freedom means the power or right to act, speak, or think without restraint, and the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved. Freedom is the correction to do what he/she wants, live life, and eat what he/she wants. How do we live free? We live free by not judging other people’s freedom rights. Everyone has their own rights.
