For the past two years, thirty-year-old Freya Larson had lived vicariously through, of all people, herself. Knowing the death of her fiance, Rookie Officer Ian Larson, had prompted dynamic changes in the prosecution of repeat drug offenders in Barrington city did nothing to lessen the impact of his devastating loss.
