The main flaw of this is Friar Lawrence was going to send a letter to Romeo to explain that Juliet isn't actually dead, and she's pretending to be dead and why. The letter never got to Romeo in time and this led to him killing himself and when Juliet saw him dead she killed herself as well. Juliet pretending to be dead wasn't a good idea after that. It would have been better if Romeo knew before she was going to fake her death or Friar Lawrence didn't fake Juliet's death. Some readers will say that “Friar Lawrence was trying to do a good thing and end the fighting between the two families,” Friar Lawrence did end the fighting between the two families, but their children died during the process. Another counter-argument would be; Friar Lawrence didn't know that the letter wouldn't get to Romeo in time. Although he didn't, Friar Lawrence shouldn't have faked Juliet's death because of the risk they would be taking. He could've given Romeo and Juliet better advice or thought out his plans a little
