As humans, we all play a game, especially as small children. This game is the blame game, in the story The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet there are multiple characters you could potentially blame for the death of all the characters that died. I blame Juliet, she is one person from the story I wish would have just made some better decisions and the outcome could have been so much different for every character that died. There are multiple examples of why things could have been totally different if Juliet had just been not such an idiot. She makes a series of bad decisions that force all the characters in the story to wallow in depression about all of the unfortunate events.

Romeo and Juliet is a tragic story that takes place in Verona where the Montagues and Capulets fight due to their generations of hate. Which their rage ends the life of two lovers, Romeo and Juliet. Romeo, the son of Montague, is a love sick and emotional young man that would do anything to win love. Juliet, the daughter of Capulet, is a thirteen years old young girl that fell in love with Romeo.

Many people believe that Romeo is to blame because of his ignorance and pride. Others blame Juliet for the tragedy because she was secretive and headstrong. In William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet, The Friar Laurence is to blame for Romeo and Juliet's problems that led to their death. The friar Laurence secretly marrying them, kept it a secret from The Capulets and The Montagues. He agreed to marry Romeo and Juliet without thinking about the consequences; Friar Laurence decided to perform Romeo and Juliet's secret marriage ceremony despite knowing that their families were adversaries and that their marriage could exacerbate the conflict between the two households. He devised a hazardous strategy to reconcile the lovers: After Romeo was exiled from Verona, Friar Laurence devised a scheme to bring the lovers back together, which required Juliet feigning her own death.

The main characters in the play, Romeo and Juliet, believe that their lives are all up to destiny, and because of this, they end up killing themselves because of miscommunication. For this, I blame Peter, Juliet, and most of all Romeo for their deaths. One reason why Peter is to blame is he invited Romeo to the party at the Capulet’s mansion for helping him read the list of invitees at the beginning of the play.
However, the people responsible for their deaths are Fate, Friar Lawrence, and Balthasar. Fate is the development of events beyond a person's control; therefore, Fate was one of the main reasons for Romeo and Juliet’s deaths. They were considered to be“two star-crossed lovers” (Doc. A) meaning no matter what happens they are both going to die in the end.
Fate is undoubtedly one of the largest contributors to the outcome of this story. From the Prologue to the end, references to Fate and a “higher power” are made. “From forth the fatal loins of these two foes”(DBQ Project: Who’s to Blame, Document A) hints at the possibility

The person most to blame is Lord Capulet because he forced Juliet to marry Paris without Juliet's consent, which ultimately led to Juliet's death.

Fate and free will, both play a major part in Romeo and Juliet. However, only one of the two is actually true. On one side, fate supposedly controls the character’s destiny. But they are completely unaware that it is actually their free will and their own actions in which they are in control of.
