He's a jerk to Thomas and is strict about the rules of the Glade. Throughout the story Alby had proven to be a very aggressive and strict person. When alby pulls Thomas out of the box, he begins to shout at Thomas. This shows his aggression towards Thomas.
For example, in the end of the book when Jim is on the verge of death, Will and Mr. Holloway uses their great love for Jim to help him stay alive. This shows how when in situations where solutions are nearly impossible to find, sometimes love and friendship can help groups stay together. This hope and love is also used as the final death sentence for Mr. Dark, as Mr. Halloway's hug overwhelms him with kindness and kills him. This is one of the many overarching themes in the story and shows how the author’s uses of language and storytelling can show a moral lesson. The message of Rad Bradbury’s story is one about care and cooperation to solve problems.

With reading this novel, I have learned to always go with your gut. When you feel something is off with a friend or family, you're probably right. This theme should be widely known because regrets shouldn’t hold people back from living their lives. Regrets should be thought of as opportunities. When they’re are taken as opportunities to grow it changes the outlook on life and it makes it a lot easier to live life to its fullest. The other theme to this story is that actions have consequences that are usually unseen or unexpected and all people deserve to be treated equally. One little thing can change everything for someone else in a huge way.
Running the Maze Imagine being trapped inside of a place with no memory of how you got there and the only way to get out was through a maze. James Dashner’s young adult, science fiction novel, The Maze Runner is about just that. There were a brunch of themes in the novel but the most important ones were maintaining rules and orders, making sacrifices, never giving up, and manipulation, even though something may look simple it might be harder than it seems. All these themes were practiced by Thomas and other Gladers in the Glade. Dashner also wrote the sequels to the Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials and Death Cure.
