With in fictional fantasy series, The Lord of the Rings, by, J.R.R. Tolkien, one of the main protagonist's, Frodo Baggins, closest companions are of the same race as himself. There is much symbolism and meaning behind this, and it relays into the fabric of our present reality. Frodo, who is a hobbit, is an easy going, ordinary hobbit who had a suppressed craving for adventure. Being the nephew of a hobbit who went on adventures and did many adventurous things, Frodo is thrusted into a world of danger and is comes into possession of a ring and a task that the fate of all of middle earth is reliant on.
