In this essay, I will be comparing different points from the backwards bicycle video to spiritual lessons drawn from that lesson. I will first compare how knowledge does not equal understanding to our everyday life difficulties. Secondly I will draw a spiritual lesson we can all relate to with the phrase “Truth is truth no matter what you think about it”. The last spiritual lesson I will draw is things are often easier said than done. The spiritual lessons I was able to draw from this video show that most if not all everyday things can give us a life lesson. In the video Destin showed that knowledge on how to ride a bike is not equal to understanding how to do it. We may have our own opinions on what we think different things are, for example many people thought they could ride the bicycle because they thought they could just do some sort of trick or win through it. But they did not want to face the truth that they could not ride the bicycle because our brain is already in a set brainwave that cannot be changed instantly, but it requires practice. Sometimes we think that we can do some things or have our opinions on something, but we do not realize that what is set is set and cannot be changed no matter what we think or
