Organization Structure suggests that “Organizations are set up in specific ways to accomplish different goals, and the structure of an organization can help or hinder its progress toward accomplishing these goals. Organizations large and small can achieve higher sales and other profit by properly matching their needs with the structure they use to operate. There are three main types of organizational structure: functional, divisional and matrix structure” (Writing, 2016). Functional structure refers to the way the organization is gathered depending on the type of job, for example production and marketing departments. Functional structure is exceptional for small organizations, since it counts with the workers’ talent and knowledge; then, divisional structure is used for large corporations with branches in different areas; finally, Matrix structure are used in global establishments (Writing, 2016). The national office distributes the power to local sites under the licensee of 501(3). Sites are capable to operate on their own. Local sites create structure by making decisions and initiating other programs. These centers form an advisory board to support the intention. They are capable to generate the mission/vision statements as well as program standards, and handbooks. Branches can determine programs components, schedule monitoring and evaluation. Similarly, they interpret financial rules and regulations. Equally, local center work as a team. They achieve goals, observe programs’ impact and collect data. Community centers have a great operating system; they encourage staff’s trainings and program delivery.
