Galbraith The Anatomy Of Power Summary

Galbraiths, The Anatomy of Power is comparable to Bertrand Russell’s Forms of Power, as in it explains different kinds of power. Galbraith goes more in depth as to say what kinds of power there is and who uses it. He gives three names to the two topics as well. I think the authors ideas are right on target of what power is. Power has a broad definition; many people understand what it is but also see it slightly different. I think that Galbraith really cleared up the definition of power for me. He put names to the type of power and names to the people who use it. Power is a bit hard to explain in the first place, usually we think of one person in charge of a lot of people but Galbraith explains that power can come from organizations as well.
