Introduction Everyone knows what a police officer or a state trooper is; they are the one to enforce the law and to hold authority with trust in the armed forces. However, law enforcement goes beyond protecting just people; game wardens are not a common name everyone knows. In fact, not many know what game warden do and who they are; Game Wardens are the ones to serve and protect the public, while conserving the wildlife and other natural resources. Yet, as years carried on, the duty for these so called ‘game warden’ started to be more involved with natures territory; patrolling the forests and streams for any invaders. Yet, the popularity of a game warden, was still unknown, until there was a crucial turning point in the 1890’s where the wilderness crime started to up rise and the need for game wardens were called upon. In the state of California, there was a man named John Muir, a naturalist who created California’s Yosemite Nation Park. Having a successful park up and running, time started to pass and Muir ran into a problem. Trying to manage the park by himself was difficult, but was more difficult was keeping unwanted visitors, to unwanted poachers from trust pass into his park.
