This analysis and experiment was designed to have a better understanding of sex roles and gender stereotypes in tory commercials that are specifically aired in Nickelodeon. The result of this experiment clearly showed that commercials for toys such as “action figures, game/building, sports, and transportation/ construction toys” were targeted toward boy-only, and commercials for toys such as doll, and animals feature girls-only. This experiment was conducted in 2014, which is one of the most recent work I could find. Also, the article was printed from a university press, which is strictly for education; therefore, this article can be considered reliable. For my research paper, this journal article will be used very effectively because it specifically covers the effect of adults on children’s perception of gender role. This will help my argument on how children’s perspective of gender role is shaped by external factors such as toys, and parental
