As history is, women have primarily been treated as minorities rather than equal beings. Women could have played a more crucial role in the development of society; however, due to the limitations women were held back because of commitments and responsibilities; whereas they could not reach their true potentials at the time. Some may say the tables have turned because now more women are involved in sharing powerful messages and the stake is higher than it used to be in the 18th century. My values on grounded on the belief that when women will be represented more than just objects in the industry and when iconic figures will fight for the “same purpose” that is the journey to evolution, the adaption to change in mentality and opportunity. The role of women in society and advocation for women’s empowerment professes the idea that through movements, protests, and campaigns, even actresses can play a mitigating role in how media shapes attitudes.
