Francis Pegahmagabow was a legendary Aboriginal soldier who fought in the First World War. He was also considered the “deadliest shot”; Pegahmagabow earned this title, along with many medals, due to his highly-valued skills on the battlefield. One of the most recognizable skills he possessed was his dexterity as a sharpshooter—he was credited with 400 kills on the Western Front. In addition, he was a bold and tenacious soldier. He was not credited much for his bravery, though, despite having survived several injuries and illnesses, and continuing to battle nevertheless.
His strong will and perseverance followed him through infamous battles such as Battle of Germantown (1777), Valley Forge (1777-1778), and Battle Monmouth (1778). Martin’s memoir presents conditions of the army, which were most profound after his move towards the fatigue party.

John Kennedy Toole’s A Confederacy of Dunces depicts the grotesque Ignatius J. Reilly as he waddles through the streets of 1960 New Orleans. In the beginning of the novel, Ignatius is the passenger of a car crash piloted by his mother, Irene Reilly, who drunkenly crashes into the front of a building which launches them into severe debt. Mrs. Reilly, who is becoming increasingly frustrated with the sporadic behaviors of Ignatius, decides her son must finally get a job to help pay off the damages of car crash.
Fort Ticonderoga had a been a key access point to Canada and the Hudson River Valley during the French and Indian War in 1755, so it was just as vital during the American Revolutionary War from 1775 until it was later recaptured by the British. The Continental Army realized that it would be important if they wanted to do anything in the northern part of the colonies they would need Fort Ticonderoga as a military hub. The fort was currently occupied by a British squadron. In order to capture the fort the Continental Army would need soldiers, and soldiers they got.
First, Thomas, as said in the above paragraph, was sent to serve in the Mexican war straight out of college to be second lieutenant in the third Artillery Regiment. Also not only once but twice was breveted (military commission conferred mostly for outstanding service) for his actions in war. His actions at Harpers Ferry (1861) made him a military legend. Not only did this make him a military legend but also his Shenandoah Vally Campaign (1862), and the flanking maneuver at the Battle of Chancellorsville. To many Jackson was considered a greater war hero to the South then Lee ever was.

To begin, in 1818 General Andrew Jackson took control of two Spanish forts in Spanish East Florida without permission to do so. Jackson had only been ordered to end Seminole attacks on American land in Florida. Because of this, John Calhoun demanded that Andrew Jackson be court-martialed. President Adams ,however, disagreed.
In high school, I was known as the party-pooper. Whenever we hung out after school, I was always the first one to leave. The reason was not because I did not enjoy the time with my friends or my guardians required me to return home early.
