In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1). So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them (Genesis 1:27). God created everything, and everything was good. God has no beginning or an end; everything is created and flows through Him. The Bible starts with “in the beginning,” because there was an empty void and the earth was “formless and empty”. However, God was already there. He started everything, including all of creation. He made every living and breathing thing, and it was good.

6 The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 7 So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord (Genesis 6:5-8). His faithfulness is a guarantee of this fact. His command was and is to love one another. Through our love, the world will know that we are His children, which becomes the basis of Christian life (Isaiah 58). Throughout history and time, His love is consistently shown. Those that follow and believe are blessed. Such as the story of Abraham and his wife Sarah, who bore him a son, Isaac in his old age, which shows his faith in God and so they were blessed. Abraham was obedient, a common theme in the Old Testament of the Bible. God tested Abraham and told him to sacrifice his only son as a burnt offering. When Abraham obeyed, God said “because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore.
