Genesis Genesis means the "beginning or "origin". Genesis was written by Moses to the people of Israel. Genesis was written in 1450-1410 and the key people were Adam, Eve, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebekah, Jacob and Joseph. Genesis began with the human, history of family, civilization and salvation. Genesis also deals with the nature of God the Creator, Sustainer, Judge and Redeemer.
