The Genre topic I have chosen for this analysis essay would be fantasy the reason why I have chosen fantasy is that the theme has been used for centuries in stories which helps prove that its appacraite by its readers. The definition of the word fantasy would be ,The faculty or activity of imagining impossible or improbable things, which in my own words would mean a portal to world that has no use to the laws of physics or logical. The fantasy genre is usually set in a universal that is completely different from the world we live in often without real refences of both places or people. In a lecture sense believe a fantasy theme work helps connects the readers better when compared to other genre them books examples would be the Odyssey which is a ancient greek poem created by Homer the reason why I know this poem is fantasy themed would be that in the poem there are certain sentence that gives clues that this poem is fantasy themed a example would be. The reason for such an impact would be that it give kids the chance to image that they were one of the special few that were selected to go to hogwarts. I personally remembered when both the book and movie come out all the kids were going crazy always waking up extra early to wait for the mailman to see it they were getting their appearance letter. Another reason why the Harry Potter series was such a success would be that the main character was just an ordinary kid and also the theme of the book was different when compared to other fantasy books during the time. Another reason why the Harry Potter series was so successful would be that use of different themes and genre a example would be placing the character in some real life solutions bullying trying to fit in with other kids which must readers at that time were able to connect with the plot and story.
