Their have been many presidents throughout the years; some good, some not as good. Each and every one of them have their pros and cons. All though Teddy Roosevelt had many struggles to face him before coming president, I believe that Teddy Roosevelt was the best president. Not only was he smart, he was athletic, and a dedicated conservationist. Teddy Roosevelt was very intelligent.

However, a lot of the time presidents are criticized more for their mistakes rather than their accomplishments. As Michael Siegel shows in his book President as Leader “presidential leadership is exercised by real, flawed human beings, and not by superheroes or philosopher-kings beyond the reach of scrutiny or critique.”
Ford had served in Congress for 25 years. Liked and ideologically flexible, he won the role of House Minority Leader in 1965. He held this position until Richard Nixon named him vice president in 1973. During his time in congress, he had developed a reputation of honesty and openness. When Richard Nixon 's first vice president, Spiro T. Agnew, was forced to resign, he had no choice but to nominate the only Republican which the Democrats of Congress would allow, Jerry Ford.
Most people agree that a president should be a good leader, with strong beliefs, with the will to stay strong in what you think, and to do what you say you will, Grover Cleveland unlike some presidents did these things. Furthermore Grover Cleveland met most of these standards which is way he was a good president. Grover Cleveland was a democrat who, was president in 1885-1889, and 1893-1897. We can learn from the fact that he was elected twice he was a good president. A closer look at how Grover Cleveland was a good president was how he fulfilled the seven presidential roles.
As President, he nullified the Great Depression’s effects on the American people. He worked day and night on the Depression for a while at a quick pace and he did some great things in his first few years as president. He led the US through arguably some of the worst years in recent American history, World War 2. He did so many great things for America and it showed in the form of three terms as President. FDR helped Americans with the Economy after the depression, he helped America through World War 2 and set up an organization to ensure a better future.
I am pleased to be here at Gerald R. Ford Job Corps Center. I am here to get everything that is good in life and to find a better job. My goal is to walk across the stage and get that paper that says I have completed everything here at the Gerald R Ford Job Corps. My one big complaint for this place, is that most people act like they don’t have any common sense or how to act in the work place.
Carter was not reelected after his four years of being president, but he continued to bring peace in foreign nations and help the United States with foreign relationships. Overall most people considered Jimmy Carter to be a president who did not do as much as he should have as president. Carter’s failures are what the people see instead of his improvements he made to foreign policy and the United States economy. Instead of people seeing how Carter ended the war between Israel and Egypt all they saw was how Carter failed to rescue the hostages from Tehran. Two things that people often forget is how Carter deregulated airlines and beer.
One thing that makes Henry Ford’s involvement in World War II so complicated, is that he was a known anti-Semite. Through his own publications in a private newspaper called titled the Dearborn Independent, Ford attempted to “spread awareness” that Jewish people were controlling the media and other world affairs. When a Jewish lawyer, Aaron Sapiro decides to sue him for these bigoted media publications, Ford issues a public apology, saying “I deem it to be my duty as an honorable man to make amends for the wrong done to the Jews as fellow-men and brothers, by asking their forgiveness for the harm I have unintentionally committed” (Henry Ford’s Apology) right before the trial took place.
Franklin Delano Roosevelt was 1 of the best presidents USA has every had. FDR was disabled from the waste down at the age of 39. It was called Polio. He was trying to the best job he can as president because he was disabled, so he was trying to prove himself. He proved that he can do anything even tho he was disabled.

Diction was a key factor in showing Ronald Reagan’s strong sense of nationalism; he chose powerful, hopeful words and phrases that were intended to unify the people. He shows syntax through anaphora, repetition, and parallelism. By using these rhetorical devices, he states key phrases more than once to create an urgency and therefore grab listener’s attention.
