Examples of these include Glassdoor, Indeed, and Monster. There are similarities between these types of companies and what LinkedIn does, but there are also many differences, as their purposes are somewhat different. These companies all include websites that provide their services, as well as free applications for use on phones and other devices, just as LinkedIn does. Services from these companies include searching for jobs by title and location, and even narrowing searches down to specific salary margins and necessary education and experience. Although it is possible to search the job listings without making an account with these sites, there are benefits of signing up to get a more personal and efficient searching experience.
