Industry overview The staffing and recruiting industry provides jobs for millions of people in the United States each year. The founders of the company are Rusty Stillman and Bill Simmons (Franklin University, 2013). The company is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Bill Simons in the current present of the company. Rusty Stillman has passed away due to a heart attack. StilSim expanded to Lakeside and Mountain View. The lakeside office was established in order to keep Mary Potter. Mary Potter’s husband’s job relocate to Lakeside and StilSim allowed Mary to setup an office in Lakeland (Franklin University, 2013). The Lakeland area is industrialized but has started to see a decline in the heavy industry. The area has started to see a small growth in green manufacturing but not enough growth to make up the overall decline in employment. The Lakeland office has been having a challenge in attracting prospects to the area to fill the high-tech jobs that are being created in the area. The Lakeland office has seven full time employees and occasionally hires a temporary staff member from a competitor across town (Franklin University, 2013). The Mountain View office is managed by Bob Henderson. This area is mostly hospitality with a lot of company consolidations (Franklin University, 2013). The office has a large temporary labor.
