The purpose of this paper is to briefly summarize the general and specific goals for the Global Issues and Society course (GLB-301) by identifying its purpose, concepts, my personal point of view, and expectations. As a result, a brief explanation about how this could affect or impact my own life, and an analysis of the challenges that are subject matter of this course. Furthermore, the main challenges that are the subject of this course- • Population- the continuing expansion of individuals could lead to serious implications like, issues with health, ageing, mass migrations, demands for housing, and inadequate food supplies. • Resources-This could be an issue if water availability is scarce, and extreme weather can become a natural disaster, as this could affect the availability and cost of food. • Technology- the progressive use of artificial intelligence could lead to a shortage of jobs/sources for humans. • Information- having access to information leads to data growth; consequently, economic costs. • Economic Integration- increases the demand for resources, which in turn could increase pollution and waste. • Security- terrorism, computer viruses, and spy drones have changed the nature of conflict; in other words, computing has change how wars are fought and by whom. • Governance- this could lead to an instability within a
