Global Warming Is Not Real Research Paper

1105 Words5 Pages

Many people have different views on the topic of global warming. The opinion on whether man-made global warming is real or not, and whether it is a growing danger to the ecosystem we live in is debatable and can be seen from many different points of view. In this essay I argue that global warming is real and can be proven by many factors such as sea level rise, global temperature rise, glacial retreat, and many other events. I also argue that these global changes are a danger to our ecosystem. Additionally, I will demonstrate the arguments for another point of view, that global warming is not real and/or that is not a danger to the ecosystem we live in.

It can proven that the global temperature is rising, and the majority of scientists …show more content…

I will cover some of the arguments made by these people.

Plenty of people argue that since the 90s there have been no significant temperature changes. The rise in temperature began in 1975, continued till 1997, and stayed nearly flat for the last 17 years. A standstill in rising temperature could suggest that temperatures are not rising steadily like some think they are.

Also, a gathering of 31,000 scientists in the field of environmental science could not reach a conclusion on whether global warming is real or not, because there is not enough long term historical data, or the data that they do have is not clear enough. Therefore, global warming cannot be completely confirmed to be real.

Not only that, but Arctic ice has not decreased in the last little while, in fact, it has increased 50% since 2012! This goes against the argument that global warming is causing the ice caps to melt.

Another thing to consider is.. can Climate models really be trusted? They've been proven to be ineffective! This would completely disprove nearly all solid evidence of global warming, if it could be proven. Machines sometimes make mistakes, and sometimes technological data is wrong. Many believe there could be an error in the reordered temperatures of the world taken by climate
