Along with the political aspect of climate change we have weather. Now the weather has been a leading cause in shooting this climate change into the spotlight. The weather around the world has changed a bit yes, but we are not seeing drastically different weather than eighty years ago. . Studies have proven that there has been many extreme weather cases that actually contradict global warming on logical levels. (Taylor). With cases surrounding droughts and extreme blizzards there is no real evidence if any that supports humans are making the skies dry up or causing a blizzard to drop feet of snow. “Modeling of past and present Colorado rainfall events, found that the probability of another extreme 5-day rainfall, like the one that caused widespread …show more content…

A lot that follows the animals around is survival of the fittest. We have so many species of animals today and this number is growing as we are finding more. Climate change is said to be destroying landscapes and patterns are thrown off with the migrations of animals because man is ruining the climate. The truth is that man is actually destroying where these animals live and not the climate they live under. This pushes animals out and then they strive to survive in a new environment and this puts a lot of strain on a species that does not have a great ability to cope with new areas and temperatures. “Polar bear life is threatened by the over 20,000 square mile loss of ice each year. In cases there is thriving groups of polar bears that have plenty of ice around them there won’t be significant loss if any due to ice loss, and there is other places that are squeezing the bears into an area that is creating harder lifestyles and reproduction success.” (José Viñas). With the case of the Polar Bears we see a variety of different outcomes through the entire population. Some are thriving and have no threat of ice loss and others are finding themselves trapped on ice caps and not being able to reproduce efficiently because lack of food and area to roam. Another example of this that comes from Maria José Viñas is about the Taimyr reindeer in Russia. These animals had a herd of about a million in the year 2000 and now have the population of about 600,000. (José Viñas). The significance surrounding this is that the humans are pushing these animals more than the climate is. The population decreases the more they have to move. When they have to cross large rivers with their young they will obviously experience losses and when they are trapped in hotter areas for food the mosquitoes can kill these animals. The grass and the food they eat is replenished rather
