What is Justification? According to Merriam Webster justification is “the action of showing something to be right or reasonable.” I do not believe that the United States decision to wage war with Mexico was either right or reasonable. My reasons are that Mexico was provoked by the Americans because they didn’t respect the border, my second reason is that Mexico had a larger claim over the land according to Document C, and my third is that the United States didn’t engage in war for the right reasons, the United States engaged in war for the fulfillment of the Manifest Destiny.
Tenochtitlan The city of Tenochtitlan was built on a lake. It was surrounded by mountains and was also near an active volcano. But this is not what forced them to create their enormous city on a lake. What influenced them was a priest who had a dream and told them to travel and search for a pear cactus with an eagle on it.

Choosing to be a Mexican over American Today I feel more like a Mexican than anything else even though I was born in the united states. I may have papers and be American but hearing other ethnicities call my people immigrants and illegal makes me feel more like an immigrant myself. I feel this way because although I am considered an American I would much rather stand by my people and my culture. I would label myself as a Mexican-American, Latina, person of color, and as a minority. I describe myself as a Mexican-American because I was born and raised in Chicago and from Mexican descent.
The Mexican-American War changed the Unites States of America in a monumental way. This war changed The U.S.A.’s relationship with foreign powers and the economic standpoint of the nation. The Mexican- American war, and its strong ties to manifest destiny, shaped the nation in a country bordered by two seas with a chance for common folk and foreigners to have a sustainable life due to the gold rush. The war can also be accounted for the downfall leading to the Civil War over the conflict of slavery due to the land purchased in the wars treaty. Conflict between Mexico and the United States began when Texas, previously part of Mexico, became part of the United States.
Now days we have enter in a new enviroment of market that developing countries are opening their contries to new kinds of investment so they can buy and sell more and better products and services. Such openness exposes countries and companies to new products, designs, technologies and cultures. Now the world have the oportunity to been better communicated. Consumers are exposed daily to all kinds of information through internet, television, newspapers, magazines, and more. Through this information the people knows a wide variety of products and services that exist in other parts of the world and want to be able to buy them in the countries they live.

Las Vegas is where I was born and raised. That doesn’t mean that I just gave up on my Mexican culture. Like many others, I have a culture that is both American and Mexican. My culture has shaped my values, perceptions, and behaviors. The culture of my family, community, and society has made who I am as a person in numerous ways.
I’m the first generation of my family to be Mexican -American, but I have been introduced to the Mexican culture since I was born. I appreciate the difficulties my parents have faced to make me the person that I am today even though I wasn’t born in Mexico my parents have taught me the language and the culture which I’m so proud of being part of. For others being Hispanic is actually being born in any Latin American countries which is not true at all. Being Hispanic is much more than my cultural background it actually describes how much I appreciate my culture and how I get to experience things other people don’t. I fit into the Hispanic community through the experiencing the culture first hand ,participating in traditions and planning to include my culture in my future.
WHEN I RETURN TO THAT SPECIAL PLACE I was born in a small town of green valleys and lush vegetation. Palmito del Verde is a small town, with around 1,500 inhabitants, located in the municipality of Escuinapa, 50 kilometers away from the border between Sinaloa state and Nayarit state in the northeast of the Mexican Republic. My hometown is famous for being one of the most important producer and also exporter of shrimp and mango of that region, both with excellent quality. The distance between Escuinapa and El Palmito (as we natives, normally call it) is 30.4 kilometers, and the route takes approximately 36 minutes to be completed. On the way from one place to another, the view is stunning: unique landscapes colored with green palm trees, marshes populated by beautiful birds of countless species and too many colors, with access to privileged beaches such as Las Cabras, Los Ángeles, La Tambora, Las Lupitas and Los Cuatro Surcos.
Some interesting places in Mexico would be the Mayan Ruins. They are centered in tropical lowlands which is now Guatemala. An interesting volcano in Mexico is Iztaccihuatl, which is the nation’s third largest volcano. Other interesting volcanos in Mexico are Popocatepetl, Colima and El Chichon which are the most active.
Mexican Culture: Customs and Traditions The Mexican culture is very diverse which has undergone many transformations over several decades and the culture varies widely throughout Mexico and the United States. I will be more focused on the other side of the border and express my findings about the Mexican culture in Mexico. It will take a lot of work to save money for my perfect vacation. However, someday my dreams of sun-kissed beaches and wild festivities will become a reality. I refuse to leave this earth without seeing the wonders of the Bahamas. Until then, I will wait with patience and let my imagination run wild with images of vibrant dances and white sand
