No Summit Out of Sight is an amazing true story about an avid mountain climber who at a young age sets his sights on climbing all of the tallest mountains in the world. In the novel Jordan Romero tells his story, he takes us through what inspired him to take on such an incredible feat and eventually goes on to describe each climb. Before the age of fifteen he had climbed Kilimanjaro, Kosciuszko, Elbrus, Aconcagua, Denali, Carstensz Pyramid, Everest, and Vinson. Throughout the book there are specific themes, scenes, and characters that are important to note. The theme of determination; the character Jordan, and the scene when Jordan reaches the top of Mount Everest is are all crucial parts of the book.

Paul Revere was born on New Year’s Day 1735, on a shipping wharf in North End Boston. Paul was the third out of twelve children, and eventually the eldest surviving son. Revere attended North End Writing School where he learned reading, writing, and arithmetic.
World History 1600-1650 The world has been in a huge number of wars. Wars could be deadly. Between the years of 1600-1650 , there were a lot of wars, religious conflicts and science developments. One of the most famous wars in this time was the war which started in 1600 and lasted around 30 years and it´s called ¨The Thirty Years War¨. The thirty years war was a series of brutal , bloody , and a very deadly wars that took place mostly in Central Europe and it is seen as one of longest and most destructive conflicts in European history.

From 1877 to present day, the development of industrialization, expansionism, progressivism, isolationism, and globalization all took place in America, however, each of them took place under different circumstances and different time periods.

In this time period, there were a few monumental companies that tried to be the one and only of their type, a few examples would be the US Steel Co., and the Standard Oil Co. These companies were rising up and trying to completely eliminate all other companies that would compete against them, and ultimately, have a monopoly on the product or service. At the time, this wasn’t illegal, but people who were trying to rival these grandiose companies were enraged. Therefore, they started calling them “Robber Barons” referring to the old ranks of nobility, where a baron was an owner of a large segment of land.

This Age marked rapid industrialization, urbanization, the development of great rise of big business, innovations in science and technology, and transcontinental railroads. Afterward, there began looking for political movement that attempted to correct some of the wrongs that had occurred during the Gilded Age. Progressives established legislation to rein in the large business, combat crime, free the government from special cases, and protect the rights of consumers, workers, immigrants, and the poor. This was a period were the wealthy got more wealthy and the poor were stuck in poverty.
It was called gilded Age for the same reason that it was only lined with gold. The age, in reality, was corrupt. Emma Goldman rightly unleashed the lack of freedom as she stated that the democracy that her people are subjected to is only enslavement in new forms. The workers are slaves who are exploited and so are the military men fighting wars for their country (qtd. Zinn, 372)
Elizabethan Era vs. Modern Era: Similarities and Differences The Elizabethan era is considered as the Golden age in English history. It is called Elizabethan era because of Queen Elizabeth I and her reign. The era is most famous for theatre, because of plays that broke free of England’s past style of theatre that was composed by William Shakespeare and many others. There are a lot of similarities and differences between this era and the modern era. During the Elizabethan era, women were considered subordinate to men.
A golden age is a period of time when an empire thrives. It thrives socially, economically, and politically. Both Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome experienced a golden age. Ancient Rome’s Golden Age was called the Pax Romana. Pax Romana means “roman peace”.
