There are many careers that I’ve considered and thought were interesting, but haven’t thought that they would work out. Currently, I am almost sure that I want to work in graphic design Usually, I lose interest in them, but this seems very interesting to me and I’ve thought about it for a while. Graphic design involves a lot of work with artwork, both online and by hand, and can be used to advertise a product or to do many other things. It provides an opportunity to be very creative, but still have a decent job. This research has shown me that a career as a graphic designer might be a very good fit for me.

Many other careers I’ve considered seem very boring, but graphic design seems like it would be a good fit. I have always liked art and thought it was interesting, but never something I thought I would be able to do in a career. I think it’s fun to look at what others have designed, such as logos and other works. I believe I would not only be good at it, but also really enjoy it. Finding the best way to advertise a product or to catch someone’s attention with a certain design or many other things seem like something I would be very capable of. I can be very creative and like to come up with designs for things. This year, I’m even taking a graphic design class at school where I am learning programs such as Photoshop. I could easily come up with new, creative ways to represent a specific message in a variety of things. There are some things, however, that I may not be as good at. For example, there are many presentations that would be necessary. Public speaking is not something I am good at yet, but I think I would be able to learn to be a better speaker if it was for something I truly cared about. I also don’t know if I would be very good at collaborating with others, which is also a small part of this job.
