Once there was a young Goddess named Scarlett. Anytime one of her friends got upset or had a problem, she is the first one to help resolve the issue. She has a special quality that anytime someone is in trouble, no matter who it is, she can make you cheerful the minute you are down. Her adversary is her twin brother, a God named Hunter. He has the power to make any person depressed in an instant. He is always causing trouble and always making people miserable. Hunter and Scarlett are constantly arguing. Every time Hunter makes a person depressed, Scarlett is right behind him, cheering that person up immediately. The next day, Scarlett confronted Hunter and asked him to stop putting spells on Lily because she was getting to the point of no return. He strongly disagreed, claiming that Lily was fine and told her that he would never stop no matter how depressed she got. After this brief discussion, Scarlett felt extremely defeated, for she could not help Lily if Hunter didn’t stop putting her down. So, she made up a plan. She was going to go to Hunter disguised as Lily, begging him to stop putting spells on her day after day. Assuming Hunter will refuse to do so, Scarlett will then use all of her power to try to reverse Hunter’s power, making him incapable of depressing people. Scarlett morphed into Lily’s appearance and went to find Hunter. Upon finding him, she suddenly realized that this task was not going to be as easy as she had originally thought. Hunter was sitting in a large chair, facing Scarlett. He recognized Lily as the girl who he had repeatedly cursed, giving Scarlett grief, and was pleased to see her there to beg for happiness. Little did he know that as soon as he touched Scarlett in disguise, all of his power would be rendered useless and he would be completely incapable of causing people pain forever. As Scarlett carefully spoke, trying to keep her voice steady, she inched closer. Hoping she would get close enough without him noticing, she took small, tentative steps and he didn’t seem to detect her tiny movements. Just as she was close enough to reach out and touch his shoulder, a flicker of recognition flashed across his face. “You know Lily, you remind me a lot of my sister Scarlett. She has eyes exactly like yours. Bright, confident, not afraid of anything. She’s always trying to get me to help you, but that’s not really my style. See, I like to cause people pain. I like to know that I’m not the only one suffering in this world, but Scarlett doesn’t see that.
