S.Braeden Comp.I,P.7 PR: Greek Culture I have readed Mythology, written by Edith Hamilton, It is about the culture and religion of ancient greece. There are many different things between our cultures. But we will be more focused on the part of them that in pacted up today as well as the part that’s about myths. As well as how they saw the world to how we do now. That is all we are going to talk about. How we lead is very different. We have 3 ‘pillars’ that control very little besides laws and going to war. Also we vote on how we do things, like whos in charge. We based our government after one of their ideas and ‘improved’ on it. Most people don’t vote thou, It’s stupid. Our leader known as a president leads for four years if they can they will run again for four more years, they can’t run any more times. The representatives and senators the people that run the other two ‘pillars’ help make laws. But all they seem to do is make laws that make life harder for non rich people. Thou some people think that everyone else should believe what they believe and proceed to force it down their throats. Many people don’t really believe that gods created the world, they say science is right. And those people if they are very ‘it’s my way or the highway’ mentality they will go into a rant or will attempt to force you to see it their way. Then their are some people on both sides will either go everyday to church or daily read every bit of research. Then there are the majority of people who will except the other side as people and move on, the minority does not thou. This also happens in other religions, they go against other religions saying that they are right and the others are wrong and they are right.
