GREEN PEAS have a bunch of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that play a primary role in preventing cancers. Green peas high amount of health-protective polyphenol called coumestrol acts as a defending agent against cancers. Excessive inflammation and oxidative stress are the risk factors for the abnormal cell growth. The risk factor for stomach and gastric tumors increases in persons whose intake of antioxidant, polyphenols, and anti-inflammatory nutrients are low. However, the routine intake of green peas along with other legumes helps to cut the risk of stomach cancer.
