Group Reflection Paper

My group as a whole worked very well, for the most part. While our group had five members, often times it was as if there were only four of us. By this I mean that Madason, Megan, Becca, and I. We were generally always present during class, which allowed for us to effectively work together and communicate. We also effectively communicated outside of class and were always working hard to always be present in order to help the group. When we made plans for outside of class, the four of us always stuck to them and were on time to work; we also put in work individually outside of class time and group meetings. We were always communicating with each other and working to equally share parts of the project. We each had specific responsibilities within our groups; we put together the Google Doc as a group (up until the creative strategy) and within that had specific jobs. Madason was definitely a wonderful asset to the group and was an excellent leader as she always communicated with us and showed initiative, especially with transferring the information from the Google Doc to Microsoft Word and with the PowerPoint; her strong work ethic was extremely appreciated. Megan was also a great asset to the team as she helped a lot with making the paper tactic sketches into digital and essentially assembling some of them along with Madason; she was always working to meet up as a group and help others when they needed it. Becca also served as a good asset, she communicated well, greatly helped with the project through the Google Doc and research, and was available to meet up as a group. Lauren Bill was not much of an asset to the team, as this was indicated in the preceding paragraph; it was almost laughable how little she contributed to the project. Personally, I think I was a great asset to the team. I was always available to meet up with the group and never missed class. I helped to set up the Google Doc and helped to contribute a lot to that as well as the ideas for the tactics. All in all, the main lesson I learned from my group was the large role that communication plays in the functionality of the team. Although our team was not perfect, we came together to complete the final product that we are all proud
