Jeremy, Ready I’m going spastic: I really don’t need to drink.. or pot.. I think they calmed me down if anything. I always heard if you type in caps it means you are yelling… I don’t yell much in person because I feel if you want to hear what I have to say listen closely.
“Play for the name on the front of jersey, not the back.” A popular quote for sports players. What does it mean? Anyone who’s seen any sports game with a team uniform would know that the team name is located on the top of the front side of the jersey and the player’s last name goes on the top of the backside of the jersey. So, the quote means play for your team and not for yourself.
In the National Collegiate Athletic Association wrestling is one of the top five viewed championships in college sports, but how are we supposed to know who we like best when we only get to see them in the playoffs? I believe that there should be more college wrestling on TV. There should be more wrestling on TV because it’s unfair. There’s NCAA football and basketball on television all the time, so why shouldn’t there be wrestling too? Eighty-three percent of the people I interviewed agreed with me on this subject.
Sunday morning after the game, the #1 football player in the country wakes up, puts on his favorite sweatshirt and takes a walk downtown. He is quickly surrounded by his fans and fellow students, all telling him what a great game he had and asking for autographs while yelling his name. All of them are wearing his jersey. The All-American football player doesn’t think much of it, just humbly takes his praise, signs his name a few times, looks at all the jerseys and doesn’t make a dime. The school and sponsorships would make the money off his jerseys, his name, his fame...

The shift of summer to autumn brings with it one of childhood's most cherished traditions: shopping for the start of the new school year. Of course, no youngster really enjoys his mother dragging him through myriad stores to model scores of uninspired outfits and shoes for her approval (or worse, sitting still [often under threat of punishment] as siblings are subjected to the same). He endures, however, for the tail-end of this trip: the point at which he's loosed upon the supply aisles and allowed to choose the items he'll use in his day-to-day doings. Of these, he holds no item in higher esteem than the backpack. He'll carry it, care for it, and swear allegiance to it until the day he must retire it, initiating the cycle again.

Nowadays, whereas bodybuilding once ruled the roost, Powerlifting is instead looking at taking the number one spot when it comes to popular gym activities. Rather than simply looking to improve the way their bodies, look, people nowadays are instead training for form and function, which is part of the reason why Powerlifting has become so hugely popular over the last decade or so. Strongman contests and competitions are far from new as they’ve been practiced for decades upon decades, centuries in fact, but it is thanks to the popularity of these strongman contests, that Powerlifting has taken off so much. Powerlifting is all about form and technique, rather than just brute strength like many people tend to believe. It is notoriously difficult and insanely physically demanding, which is why only a select few individuals will ever make a success from it.
