Halloween is also the time where creative culinary feats are accomplished and some spooktacular soups are developed. People living with food allergies are especially careful this time of year because many of these devilish dishes might contain something they are allergic to.

This vegan soup is also gluten free and can be made in roughly 30 minutes. You need: olive oil, onions, rosemary, garlic, a pumpkin, garlic, vegan vegetable broth, and coconut milk. The reason that you need a pumpkin instead of pumpkin puree is because not all commercially sold pumpkin purees are allergy free. Some are made in areas that come into contact with trace amounts of milk and/or nuts. You will want to take your pumpkin and dice it up into tiny cubes so that they can cook quickly and evenly.
