The Michigan State basketball team has had their Midnight Madness and two exhibition games. The Midnight Madness show really gave the fans a look at the whole roster and our star players. Michigan State 's star sophomore player, Miles Bridges, has been named National Player of the year and also Big Ten pre-season player of the year. With pre-season in mind right now, many of the fans were shocked by the outcome of Michigan State 's first exhibition game against Ferris State, as the final score was 80-72. Día de los Muertos Dia de los Muertos is the Day of the Dead, which is celebrated in Central and Southern Mexico during November first and second. The purpose of this holiday honor spiritually departed loved ones. According to Niu.edu, it is believed that on October 31st the spirits of angels are let down to Earth from Heaven to visit their living friends and families, they do not depart back to Heaven until November 2nd. Most hispanic citizens celebrate this day by decorating cemeteries with candy, flowers, skulls, parades and more. To celebrate, families make platforms and offerings of food such as Pan de Muertos (Sweet rolls) shaped in skulls and other figures.

In the spring of my freshman year, I was faced with something I had never faced before. I either had to choose my friends and spring break or basketball. I loved basketball, but at the same time, I realized that freshman year was the year to make a lot of friends. All I had heard in the past month was my friends talking about Spring Break. I knew that basketball would take place every single weekend until August 1st.
I got a refreshing glass of ice water and sat down to drink it. I got hungry when I got done drinking the glass of water. I ordered a cheeseburger, and it tasted good. I got done eating the cheeseburger, and I told my parents it was good. After a hour, we left the clubhouse, and we got in the cart and drove to the shed.

This wednesday, a early release day, I took the bus home, and as we neared my house I saw the usual Mercedes parked out in our driveway. But it wasn't until I got to my door and said "hello" but got no reply, implying that nobody was home. So I went and got the keys to the Mercedes.
