In my opinion, happiness come from a feeling of pleasure or some variation of positive emotion or attitude. The feeling of happiness is so essential in every individual's life, it’s just that some people don’t realize it. Examples of happiness affecting our everyday lives can be found in books, novels, or even movies. In the book The Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger, I learned that happiness can be found, even in the darkest times.
When thinking of happiness, every human brain will travel down a different path. Humans seek different ways of trying to attain true happiness. Many individuals will seek pleasurable moments and things in order to reach their happy trial. Sitting on a porch Sunday morning with a cup of coffee. Are you happy with your life? This seems like a simple question to answer, but there are many different things to ask yourself when answering this question. Is “happiness” achievable? How do you define “happiness”? What does “happiness” mean to you?

Happiness, an abstract concept that isn’t clearly defined. It comes in different forms for everyone, we all experience happiness very differently. Some will go out an extra 20 miles in order to reach what they think their goal of happiness is, but that could have negative effects. What us humans do to reach this ultimate goal, can be very detrimental, emotionally and physically, so all in all, we should not strive for happiness to be a goal of ours, instead, we should let it come naturally.
Happiness has a broad meaning. One may consider it to be having money, love, or even just enjoying the little things in life. There is no real definition for happiness because it all depends on a person 's perspective of life. Happiness is more about the way you think and act rather than a material possession. It is not something that has a physical form, or that is worth something valuable, yet everybody seeks it.

For some, happiness is living in the moment and experiencing life as it passes, but for others it means living a life of virtue. Though happiness may look different for everyone, it is something that everyone is striving for.
