From the you can tell Hazel Grace from the Fault In Our Stars, isn’t just a normal teenager from Indianapolis. She is not only really mature for her age from being a college student at the age 16 but more thoughtful and considerate tghe the average teenager. One of her greatest worries that impacts who she is is the impact her death will have on the ones she loves the most.She wants to minimize the harm she will leave on the people who love her. Most of Hazel's journey is based on her understandings and thoughts of death. In the beginning she only cared about how her death would affect others. She would always fear to get near anybody because she didn’t want to leave them with the pain. The fear she has is more for her parents especially her mom because one day when they thought they had lost their daughter her mom said she wasn’t going to be a mom anymore, Hazel recalled the situation when she said “ I'm dying mom, I am going to die and leave you here alone and you won't have me to hover around and you won't be a mother anymore, and I'm sorry, but I can't do anything about it, Okay?” (Green, 296).
