Interaction of healthcare professionals has become common all over the world. Social media is not only a way of communication but it is also a way of new study methods, challenges and many more. The aim of social media is to connect people (who are involved in radiology education) and encourage discussion between like minded individuals. In addition, it provides access to a very wide variety of open resources that promotes medical education and professionalism. Worldwide radiology societies such as the british institute of radiology has been encouraging the use of social media tools such as twitter to connect people who are involved in radiology education from all around the world to improve involvement , cohesion and discussion . The videos or images that are shared might include an image that has particular pathology , evaluation or diagnosis , as well as the video’s might include practicing a certain procedure or a position which aims in education . …show more content…

As well as social networking sites such as the facebook, which allows users to share links and update about themselves , daily life studies and discussions with a wide variety of people internationally as well as create pages and groups that are used for certain discussions . In addition to that there are social networks that aid in researches such as the research gate and linkedin.
Twitter site is being more concise and mobile friendly version of blogs that is created to broadcast small messages to vast volumes of people internationally.
Youtube is another social media platform that enables picture and video information to be done and shared
