Helen Keller was a blind and deaf woman who faced many challenges throughout her life. Helen, with her teacher Anne Sullivan, learned how to read braille after many frustrating days, weeks, and months of not being able to read and she also learned to speak English along with many other languages. She also graduated college and became a spokesperson for the blind and deaf. She had made many great accomplishments with being blind and deaf that completely changed the ways the blind and deaf are treated for their handicaps.
