Henry Hudson Henry Hudson was a famous explorer that went on many adventures. Hudson had many family members and a lot of places he went to during the Age Of Exploration. Henry Hudson’s birth and family members, career, and later life made him one of the famous explorers in The Age Of Exploration. To begin with, Henry Hudson was born in 1565 and lived in England, United Kingdom. The woman he married was Katherine Hudson. She gave birth to her and Henry’s sons. Henry had three sons Oliver, John, and Richard. He took one son, John, with him on one of his journeys. Henry’s job was a representative of the country England. He was an explorer for 4 years, he started in 1607 and ended in 1611. The ships he used were named Discovery, Hopewell, and Half Moon. His goal was to find a new route to Asia in his first trip. Finally, Henry had a total of 4 journies in his career as an explorer. Next, Henry’s events as an explorer and how he was famous. His first trip was in 1607 to try to find a new route to Asia, because the Muscovy Company asked him to do it. In 1608 Henry had taken a journey to the Northeast Passage. The next thing that happened was Henry got sent to a new company called Dutch East India, as the commander. He got stuck in James Bay because of bad weather. His sailors were angry and they took over the ship. They made Henry get off with his son, John, and a friend, Robert Juet.
