No matter who someone's hero is one thing stays the same. A hero is someone that has strived to help out of their own will. Anyone could be a hero. However not everyone is a hero. Being a hero takes courage.

Hard work and dedication; a positive attitude and perseverance are all abilities or qualities, that are valued by our society.
Characteristics of Hero Myth Some people have different ideas about hero myth stories because they usually involved distinct perspectives of the hero. Harry Potter is a story about a young boy who is immune to the truth of his life. He is living an unhappy life with his guardians-the Dursleys. Little by Little Harry Potter will unfold the truth with the help of friends he'll meet along the way. In the Series, Harry Potter begins as a non-hero, moves into a special world where he is faced with challenges, and receives help.
A hero is someone who is brave and courageous; this person goes out of their way to right a wrong in society or to stand up for others who cannot stand up for themselves. A hero will think of other people even if their own life is in jeopardy. Superheroes still possess the qualities of a hero, but they usually have other “abilities” compared to normal people. Superheroes will often have an alter ego/ hidden identity in order to protect themselves and their loved ones, extraordinary powers that help them save people, and sometimes superheroes have a tragic incident that forces them into doing good. When asked about what they believe a hero is, one might say superman or batman etc, while others might say someone influential to them, like their parents or teachers. Typically what defines a hero was one who shows bravery, acts of humility and has the strength to overcome the most rigorous of tasks. Also a hero is one who is respected and appreciated by their peers.
There are various approaches to describing a hero. There is also an infinite number of individuals who can be defined as heroes. A hero can be a person who demonstrates valor. A hero can be a champion. A hero can even save a life or even mankind.
