This book is important to the topic of using the Internet as a communication tool because teachers are not only challenged with communicating with their students. This book aims to fill in the gap where communication lacks in terms of technology. More specifically, the book focuses young children and their interaction with technology. However, the information contained in this book helps understand how young children interact at home with technology and the benefits of using those skills in an academic setting.
