Since books and movies are made for diffenrent audiences and tell the stoy in different ways the movie adaptation of a book always leaves out or changes parts of the story in the book. In the Jackie Allen part of the then chapter of the book “High Fidelity” by Nick Hornby the story of Rob's third girlfriend on his desert-island, all-time, top five most memorable split-ups,in chronologigal order list is told. It tells about the evening when of Rob's dj comeback at the club where he used to djay when Laura and he met. The atmosphere is excited and the people are having fun. Barry's band is playing because Laura invited them to. During their performance the crowd is excited and dances to the music that is played.
