American high schools might have some issues where some teachers aren’t properly trained that might be the cause of why students are becoming thinkers but told how to think . As for me going to high in america I had way different viewpoint on high schools in america, I realized that some high schools aren’t dedicated to help students succeed. High schools in america are creating road learns; then teaching students how to critically think. As David Foster Wallace This is water says, “teaching you how to think (Wallace).” Wallace is right students who already have graduated from high schools, if you ask them a question on what they learned the chance are they probably they won't recall any of it. If high schools in america are just spoon feeding thinks you can regurgitated instead high schools in america should be creating inventors that one day look back and say that they could recall everything they learned in high schools.
