Do you believe in reincarnation? Hinduism and Buddhism are two of very few religions that believe in reincarnation. They believe in life after human life and how you live in your human life can affect your next life. Although there are many differences between Hinduism and Buddhism, they share some minor similarities. Both these religions despite their similarities and differences are still two of the largest religions in the world. The Vedas were introduced to India by the Aryans. Hindus believed the Vedas were received by scholars direct from God. The context of the Vedas is made up of four compositions and each veda has four parts which are organized in chronological order. The Samhitas, Brahmanas, Aranyakas, and Upanishads are the four compositions all containing different contents such as hymns, rituals, prayers, meditation, and teachings of Hinduism. Hindus celebrate many sacred days. These sacred days of Hinduism are intended to purify, avert bad influences, renew society, get over critical moments, and strengthen the vital powers of nature. Three of the major Hindu holy days are Holi, Diwali, and Mahashivaratri. Hinduism are strong believers in three things. Hindus believe in the concept of Dharma, which stresses the importance of religious and moral duty. Another one is Karma, which is the belief that all your actions in life now come back to you in your next life. Last but not least is Ahimsa, which is the key principle of Hinduism.
