To understand God, in each different religion as it is represented in different ways. It is recognized through different key core beliefs and rituals to celebrate their practice in their religion. Each religion they show different core beliefs and rituals as belief in different Gods and different ways on celebrating their practice. Catholicism has many core beliefs and rituals as with the background knowledge the funeral, is the biggest celebration in Catholicism. Catholicism sacred text was the old and new testament as, the whole sacred text was for the christians in the holy bible, which was compared with the old and new testaments. Which follows referring to as the holy scriptures, there are many non canonical texts in the christian religion as well. Catholicism had one main ritual which was funeral as saying goodbyes to their love ones they had done many traditionals, ways in funerals. Hinduism sacred text was the Vedas or the book of knowledge which were the foremost sacred text in hinduism. These books, written from around 1200 BCE to 100 CE, which began with the four vedas. Hindu funerals rituals are that most hinduism people are cremated as it believes that it will help their purity and soul to escape from the body quickly and be prepared for the afterlife when passed away which is taken in a traditional place. The ritual contains a lamp is placed by the head of the body and prayers plus hymns are sung during the service, pindas know as rice balls are placed on the coffin with the body. Water is sprinkled on top of the body a wooden beaded necklace maybe put around the dead person’s neck as may garlands of flowers to proceed with the funeral service. The funerals are usually held by a priest or by the eldest son from the decreased. The funeral may be conducted, at home or either a church and or cemetery chapel. A funeral is held willig up to the family’s choice , which might take a few days after the time of death which is then allowing the family and friends to attend the service.
