The food culture of the United States has its similarities and differences with that of Hispanic countries. For example, breakfast in the U.S. consists of eggs, bacon, toast, and milk or orange juice. Although in Mexico they too eat eggs and toast, a lot of times Mexicans eat tortillas, fruits, or pastries and drink coffee or atole. The time of breakfast also differs. Americans tend to eat early like at 6 while, in Mexico, people eat around 8am.
The lunch in most Hispanic countries is the biggest meal of the day. Each country eats different foods, usually prepared at home.
