Arguably the most famous person of the fifties was the “King of Rock and Roll” himself. He was also known as Elvis Presley, or just Elvis. Richard Nixon was a famous politician and to-be president. There were many famous actors. These include Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, and Lucille Ball. Two of the biggest inventions in electronic technology used today were invented in the fifties. First was the television. After the invention of television, practically everyone began to have one in their house. The second was the video recorder.
