The colonist began a riot, thus resulting in the importation of British troops within Boston. The Boston Massacre happened on March 5th, 1770.
Before the Boston massacre we had the Townshend Acts in 1768. Lord Townshend was in charge of raising revenue in a way that wouldn 't upset the colonist. Which in their eyes will be a external tax rather than an internal tax such as the stamp act. They are going to charge for imported and manufactured goods from Great Britain. Runners from all around the world came to race and many did not expect anything to happen.
On April 15, 2013 the Boston Marathon began the same way it had for the past one hundred and seventeen years. But it ended in a way that no one would have ever thought of happening, with two bombs exploding near the finish line of the race. Three people were killed, at least 264 people were injured, and everyone there was sent into a world of panic. No runner could understand why a terrorist would pick a marathon of all places to launch an attack The 2014 Boston Marathon was an emotional one due to it being a year since the bombing and since some runners could no longer run.

Looking back at the Boston Massacre we have to ask ourselves a few questions; Does the name really fit the event? We all know the story that has been told for generations, but we need to go back and look at the facts. Was it really a massacre? , What was the intent of the solders?, and How many people were killed? These are the questions we need to look at when figuring out if the name fits the facts.
There were many disagreements and because of those, many events were the cause of the American Revolution. These events included bloodshed by others, peoples rights weren’t enforced, individuals didn’t receive freedom, and our country was just not yet whole. Despite of the causes of why the road to Revolution took place there were effects afterwards. When American Revolution was over with the The Declaration of Independence came into place, treaties were signed, and the Bill of Rights. Now these effects/events were amazing, it helped our country tremendously.
