World War Two is known as one of the biggest events in modern history. It took place from 1939-1945. This war started off in Europe when Germany, led by Adolf Hitler, invaded Poland on 1 September 1939.This invasion is seen as the starting events of World War Two. This war was fought with two sides. The Allies, who consisted of America, Britain, France and the USSR and the Axis, who consisted of Nazi Germany, Italy and Japan. However, one can question whether or not Hitler’s action before the war, the driving force that created a war that lasted for about six years. Britain was reluctant to go to war and was willing to give Hitler a bit a room so that war could be prevent. Hitler was allowed to increase his navy and helped General Franco in the Spanish Civil War. Germany’s army had made a massive impact on the small cities such as Guernica. Hitler was breaking the Treaty of Versailles on a regular occasion. France did not want to take action before Britain had done anything as France did not want to be seen as the country that started another war. Hitler was doing these thing in order to get the support from the German people. Due to Britain’s actions, this angered France as they were seen to have done nothing. The idea of Britain’s navy being smaller than that of Germany strike fear into Britain’s eyes. Britain did not want to go back to war due to the effects and loses from World War One. Hitler used this as a means to get what he wanted especially from Britain as they signed the Anglo-Germany treaty which allowed Germany to have a bigger naval
