I haven’t gone to very many amusement parks in my life other than Six Flags. I never knew about any other parks until I went to Santa Claus, Indiana to Holiday World.
In 2010, we took a trip group trip to Indiana to go to Holiday World. The group that went was pretty big. We stayed at a campsite, and there was four campers for our group. Aaron drove the hooptie, the hooptie was an old camper that went on just about every camping or float trip with us. It had some problems sometimes, but I guess they were easy to fix because Aaron and my dad would fix them pretty fast. The drive to Holiday World wasn’t too long, only about three hours. We left in the morning we we could get there and still have time to go to the park that day. Setting up the campers and getting everything set up didn’t take that long so we had like half of the day left to spend at the park.
It was not as big as I thought it would be, but it was big enough for all of us at the time since we were all little. Most of the first day we were at the waterpark. We rode some of the water rides too, but most of the time spent in the water park was spent in the wave pool. They …show more content…

When we got back to the campsite we just hung out for the rest of the night. We rode the bikes we brought, played baseball for a while, and just walked around the campsite until dinner. After dinner the adults sat around the fire and us kids played flashlight tag for a while, then went to go sit with the adults for a little bit. At around midnight everyone was ready for bed. That next morning we had to leave, but we didn’t leave super early because it was only a three hour drive. I think we left the campsite around noon.
Our trip to Holiday World was about seven or eight years ago. I would like to go back for a weekend again. I would also like to go to Cedar Point sometime
